A HEART TO HEART with KAWAKAWA

During a trip to New Zealand, I had a profound connection with the green goddess of Aroha, Kawakawa, a native botanical. Nestled in the lush Kiwi countryside, I immersed myself in its intricate details, capturing its essence with my camera. I've always advocated chasing inspiration and delving deeper into what captivates you. After enduring Melbourne's lockdowns, my soul yearned for nature's embrace. Kawakawa, with its heart-shaped leaves bearing the scars of native Looper caterpillars, resonated deeply. It's a revered medicinal plant in Maori healing, fostering fearlessness, presence, and inner freedom. I translated its beauty into watercolours and envisioned it adorning tonic water bottles, a tribute to nature's gift to the heart and soul.

Curiously playing and creating heartfelt moments till the very end. 💚
